Welcome to NICO!

The thermostat housing bolts to the timing cover below the power steering pump. I has one of the radiator hoses going to it's housing and uses three 10mm bolts to attach to the front of the engine. It will be pretty easy to change if you have worked on a car or two. If not, now is a great time to learn. Buy a repair manual and a decent socket set w/ different length extensions and you will be on your way.

Actually, it may be tougher on your car because I removed the clutch fan and installed 2 electric fans. I have a good bit more room than you do to work. Get a manual and take some time getting familiar w/ how everything comes off. It's the best way to learn. If you have a problem, hit me up.

On the timing cover to the right in this picture, the thermostat housing bolts up on the top left where the three bolt holes are.
