Hey does anyone know what the nissan part number for the thermostat housing is on the KA24E or where I could find it. Damn thing broke and I haven't been able to find one and I read that NAPA can get you one if you have the part number and I went down there today and had this confirmed. Thanx

Damn for DOHC or SOHC. IF it is DOHC I will beat whatever NAPA sells them for. I just happen to have one. Funny...when I was changing my thermostat, we pulled it off of the DOHC first to get an idea of where it was. Well when I was trying to get it off the SOHC, i took a screwdriver and hammer to it because it was a PITA to get off, thinking that I could use the DOHC one. LOL didnt work, so I have it just sitting in my garage. Hit me back if you want it

Ummm its for the SOHC, damn I would buy it from you too if it fit. What did you use on the SOHC to replace it. I guess it is pretty common to break. A lot of people are telling me to go the wrecking yard, but the closest one to me is well over an hour away and I doubt they have one. It sucks when you put a completely different engine in and the only thing that stops you from driving it is one small thing.
