Thermostat housing

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

Does anyone know if any other Nissan's thermostat housing (piece that lower radiator hose connects to on the engine) will work on an RB25? The one that was on my engine was in bad shape and cracked at one of the bolt holes.

Does anyone know any compatible thermo housings? Would the Z32 housing work? My engine is so close to be started up and this is the only thing holding me back. Help would be much appreciated.

I don't know, but I have some advice. Call some of the importers like venus and see if they can sell you one. Option 2, take it to a machine shop and see if they can fix it or just make you a new one. Some of the Rotary guys I know have had all kinds of custom parts made including the thermostat housing, so that may be an option for you.
