240 issues once again...stumped!From the top. My starter died on Friday night, solenoid going bad as well I believe. Changed it that morning(1:30a). On the initial start up the motor boggs a bit so I gave it a little gas to get her going. On the drive home the car was bucking a bit in the beginning, maybe a misfire. I also noticed at one point the RPM shot up from 900/1k to 1.5k., gave it some gas and it seemed as if fuel delivery was a off, as the RPMs didn't increase from 1.5k but rather bogged then dropped down to 900 then increased. For the next few days the car seemed as if it was heavier than usual. The RPMs shot up to 1.5k a couple more times, very erratically, with the same symptoms described before when applying throttle (not in gear).

I assume the problem may be MAF sensor, fuel pump, or clogged/dirty injectors. What do yous guys think?

I'm gonna vote injectors. But that and the MAF are easy to troubleshoot/fix.

Ive been suggested vacuum lines as well. I already had a leak around the valve cover due to missing bolts(prev. owner), I just resealed the valve cover maybe 2-3weeks ago. It has started leaking in a new area but it's been running fine. Since the initial starter fix I have noticed that the heating system is running a lot cooler that usual. Related?

Vacuum lines are possible. Maybe you bumped one when removing the starter. Mine idled funny cuz there was a small plastic piece connecting a vacuum line to a valve in the back of the motor that was broken. Check for any dried up hoses too.

Low coolant can cause your car to idle funny & will also effect your heater. Make sure you burp your radiator.

you have the common conditions of a vacuum leak. the heater not blowing hot could be multiple things. your thermostat could be bad, your heater valve might not be opening but that's not something i'd put my money on yet. you could also be low on coolant. check your coolant level. also check your tempurature gauge and see if it gets hot or not. it's not a sure fire way of seeing if it's hot because if there is too much air in the system sometimes the gauge won't be able to read it. if you're low on coolant then do a compression test on your motor. it's possible you overheated your motor. your timing could also be off but that chances of that happening are next to nil if all you did was change a starter so thats something i'd check last if everything else fails. take a look at your maf, make sure its plugged in all the way, clean the maf out. injectors are also a common thing to go on the older nissan motors. i haven't had that happen to me but if what i'm thinking is right, you would be running rich if your injectors went bad. smell your exhaust for fuel also

I will check coolant levels. The car has not ran hot since I replaced the water pump, 3months ago. I am taking for a diagnostic tomorrow...

I also forgot to mention last night before I posted this, when the RPM shot up to about 1.5k, I shut off the car to see how it would respond. It didn't crank again for atleast 30-40mins.
