"The depths to which human depravity can sink, as illustrated by this story and gutwrenching pictures can shock even those of us who have seen the worst of the worst."

Before clicking, this is not for the faint of heart.

I cried. You can see his (mostly) daily update with the links of articles on the right.

If given the choice, I will ALWAYS save a strange dog over a strange human if both were involved in the same emergency, every single time.

Edit: (definitely made me cry)

f***.

i was driving back to my house with my gf in the 240 and on my street i see a dog in the middle of the road at like 11pm so i stopped and opened the door and he just hopped in. i had no idea whose dog it was, but i didnt wanna just leave it so i kinda waited hoping someone would be looking for it but no one showed. i couldnt take it home and all the shelters were closed but one of my neighbors has like 5 dogs so i just dropped it off there and they said theyd take it to a shelter in the morning. idk if the owner just left him or if the dog just got lost, but it felt good knowing he was safe.

im not sure if i'd save a dog over the human though

Dogs = Usually loyal and loving, occasionally bad

People = Usually a disappointment, occasionally good

I'm with Michele on this one.

This is a s*** story, but things similar to this happens to human beings.

Us humans love dogs more than each other. Glad the little guy is doing better.

Also this was a bad idea to do when watching the video:

I doubt anyone is surprised you're crying, Nala. Please resist the urge to post a mix tribute.

wow.. that is sad. In addition to being starved, that dog was beaten badly. You can tell because he holds his ears down and back to an extreme level. That action is a submissive gesture meant to prevent another animal from harming him. Poor puppy!

I can't watch a nice doggy in pain. I love my own way too much.

This is one of those videos that I'd rather skip.

Agree with both of the above. This article makes me lean pro-death penalty...

I'm not clicking that link. I can watch a movie where people get ripped to shreds and murdered on a massive scale. Singe one dog/cat/squirrel/etc., and I can't enjoy the rest of the movie.

This was the most tense scene in a movie that, in hindsight, wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

Yeah, okay, obviously green-screened, but the idea of violence against animals pushes my berserk button.

And, on the upside, I'm starting to care about people, too. The story of the 11-year-old girl who was gang-raped on several occasions by 19 young men and boys in Texas got me a bit angry this morning.
