There's a Honda part on my car! And it works!

OK. So like most S14 owners with a power antenna, mine broke off. I didn't really want to buy a new power antenna, and I really dislike those floppy "short" antennas they sell at auto parts stores. I was watching a video about the Honda Integra Type R one day and noticed it had a little rubber antenna delete plug. I thought I would buy the part and see if it fit my car (it was only $10 and the eBay seller claimed it would). It did! Now instead of an ugly broken power antenna, I have a barely noticeable little rubber stopper.

Yeah, but the S2000 antenna seemed like to much money and hassle to me for an antenna. Plus, I don't really like the way they look. If you're like me, and don't listen to or even have a radio, I think this is the way to go.

The eBay seller claims it will. If the hole is the same size, I don't see why not. It's basically just a rubber plug so water doesn't get in your car.

We had a thread years ago about installing S2K antennae on 240s. I put one from a Jetta on my car when my power antenna bit the dust. When I redo the antenna, I'll probably land an S2K antenna, the plug matches up instead of the crap that Volkswagon used.

I'll get some pics of what it looks like on my black S14 up soon. Most likely tomorrow.

But it was diligent sarcasm lol. Looking up the part, then embedding the link into the [img] code took a bit more effort than I implied. I take pride in my sarcasm ;)

I think I'll be grabbing one of these as well, sure as hell has to be better than the black duck tape I have covering the hole now lol.

Search Integra antenna delete on eBay. It should be $10.00 with free shipping from seller lec_motorsports. That's the cheapest one I found, and the one I used.

So, it's really crappy weather out today. This means no picture yet. It's supposed to rain tomorrow and maybe Sunday. I'll try and get those pics up as soon as possible. I can say that it is very low-profile and from a distance, looks like nothing is there.
