there is no chime or light going off for the seatbelts not beaing worn?

Most of the older cars will have a chime and/or light when you first start the car but after that there is usually no continuous chime like in the newer vehicles.

no i mean there is no warning what so ever at all i think its a burned out light in the dash but what about the warning chime?

My Q's have never chimed when your not wearing your belts. I think its normal.

The light is another story, could either be the switch or the bulb itself.

I think the timer control unit or the shift control unit (Which also emmits the beeping noise for not wearing seat belts, key in igntion...) might have been bad.

It may have been a combination of booth which are fairly rare, But the car had 16x,xxx
