the car doesn't even have to move anywhere. if i rev the engine, the car soon smells like a go-kart. there's also black stuff that comes out of the exhaust. the motor i have in my 240 is an sr20det, and i have an apexi n1 exhaust. i'm not sure what i should do, but i also notice a larger amount of gas is being burned than there should be.
i'm not sure what to do or how to fix this, but please help.
i have a couple other problems with this car, but i'll post them in another thread.
there is a heavy gas odor around my 240 when revved.

Bad injector, bad exhaust valve (check compression)
Is there any area around the car that the smell is stronger?
If it's the bad exhaust valve, then it could ruin o2 sensors and cause the car to potentially run richer and leak even more fuel. Get a compression test and let me know what that does.
You can also get this is one of the cylinders isn't getting spark. Check to make sure you're getting spark at each cylinder.

honestly, i did. the only thing i could find was the ka24de power steering pump and how to put it into an sr20. i wasn't too sure if that'd be a good idea.

yes, the smell is ridiculous directly behind the exhaust. i'll try and get a compression test and figure everything out, hopefully it's nothing too expensive or difficult to fix.

What brand are the injectors? Are there any other markings?

not sure what brand they are, they just look like dirty stock sr20 injectors. but i'll be sure to test them soon.
also, if i got a different cc than what mine were before, but still replace all of them, would i have to reprogram the ECM?

Either a ecu tune or a SAFC so you can lower it down to stock.
