well i thought my transmission in my 240 would get me to my ship date for the army (aug 19) but as of today I only have first and and second out of the four. I am a auto if you havnt guessed. No i am stuck with the decision of what to do. I want to do a 5 speed swap, but i leave soon for the army and who know what will happen after that. If anyone knows what a auto transmission will cost that would be helpful. my dad will have my car while im gone, if i can get a transmission for cheap that would be optimal. I dont know what my future plans are either

look on car-part.com they have some cheap trannys on there. my transmission was slippin really bad. i changed the torque convertor and that worked for a day. so i got one off the website from florida with 31k on it. well before i picked it up at my uncles shop my grandfather told me to put a new filter in the transmission. so i did and guess what its shiftin great for about 60 mi now. if it hold up i might keep the transmission to get upgraded and keep automatic but i think i still want to sell my car to get an s13 so i would sell the transmission too

Sad to hear of a coupe wounded in battle. I hope it is up and running before you leave so you can enjoy it a little more. :batman

I got a 95 transmission to put in my 91 240 with a 92 motor (strange mix isnt it?) from what I understand from a post by Aries, they are all swapabble but you might have to mess with the wiring a bit...I know that it works for the manuals and would assume it would for the auto's too.

All KA trannies are the same. I will have an auto transmission for sale next month. If that helps any.
