After my workout yesterday i planned to get my oil change... went to advanced auto parts with my $5 dollar off coupon and got 5 bottles of Royal Purple 10w-30 for $35... didnt need a filter because Poly gave me 3 Nissian filters as part of my caption contest #1 prize pack. (thanks Poly!!!) But anyway i pay for the oil and stick my wallet in the seam of my shorts and walk to the car, grap the oil filter out the trunk, and head to my local express oil change. (nearest infiniti dealership is 100 miles away... nearest nissian dealership is like 20 miles away) When i get there im chatting with the two service guys as the tag team my car... they compliment me on using "the good stuff" and are plesently surprised of how well maintianed my G35x is... because they couldnt find anything to up sale me on...

then he goes to ring me up... and i realize i dont have my wallet... and all i have is $10 cash in my car... i grab the reciept and call back advanced auto parts and to my surprise someone had just brought my wallet into the store... i let the express oil change technican talk to the advanced store clerk to comfirm that im not trying to run off... but they still made me leave my samsung omnia as collateral. ran back to advanced got my wallet, came back, and paid for my oil change.

Yesterday could of been an diaster... and a logistics nightmare if it wasnt for the good person that returned my wallet

lesson learned: dont stick wallet in the seam of my workout shorts and people are still generally good...

Nice good story.

I've found a brifcase once on the road. I stopped and picked it up and and gave back to the owner. He had all of his papers and his family's in it with all of his cards. He took his mother to the hospital that day. His mother is in wheelchair. So when they were leaving he helped his mother to get in the car. Hi put his briefcase on the top of the van. After she was in he forgot about the briefcase and drove off. I found the case about 4 intersections away from the hospital. Anyways I don't know how he would of been able to prove his I.D. to get new ones. Even his 2 decades old immigration papers were in it.He wanted to give me $20 for being a nice guy. I told him no but I asked him to do me a favor. Just to be nice to at least one stranger at the next day.

I believe one person can make a different. Just 1 at the time that's all . They made a different to you. Now it is your turn.

I found a Blackberry in the parking lot of one of our casinos. I started calling numbers in the phonebook and finally got a nice guy. He said he would try to call some of the owners buddies and see if they were with him.

About that time I looked in my mirror and there was a white Suburban with some young fellas in it looking at the ground. I got out of my car and said "are y'all looking for a Blackberry?" One of the kids jumped out of the front seat and picked me up and swung me around and around and kissed my forehead about 100 times.

Made my day. They all loved my G too.

It is much easier to be nice than to be a jerk. Good going on the brief case.

If I lost my phone and some lady found it and I did that to express my thanks, I'm pretty sure the lady would scream rape...

I have a friend and his son was in a bad one car accident in the boonies. Thank God somebody stopped and got the kids cell phone and started calling numbers and got John. Probably saved the kids life.

I think you were calling me Poly. I am not a parrot! I've done 2 good deeds back to back recently. Went to the ATM at the bank, and there was $20 sitting in the slot. I went inside and Told the supervisor someone was short $20. The lady who was short was actually complaining to the manager and walking out the door as I said that and she walked in and said it was her. She wasn't exactly grateful for it but I could care less as I didn't care about her approval of my actions, just the big boss upstairs. 3 weeks later the same thing happened at the ATM, but whoever withdrew probably withdrew a few hundred as there were no complaints when I took the $20 to the supervisor and they took note of the time to review the ATM transactions and figure out that whoever used it before me was shorted 20... I feel that I would appreciate someone returning $20 that were mine and not given to me.

sorry poyzinous... couldnt remember how to spell it... and im pretty sure im pronoucing it wrong also... which makes sense why i cant spell it...

i had a simular thing happen just last week... i got to popeys and order my food from the drive though, i get to the window, and she just hands me my food. Then she begins to take the next order, i actually sit there for about 5 mins waiting for her to take my money...

after the five minutes i beep my horn and ask, "if she wants her money or is it on the house" (she was a cute and polite girl) She gives me this blank stare and is like "thank you, thank you, you are an honest person"

if she was an ***hole i would of took my food on the house though...
