imo, suspension/brakes needs to be taken care of first (after routine maintenence)you can unload thousands in that easily.after that, start working on the drivetrain from the rear forward. meaning, make sure you have an LSD, then get a lightweight driveshaft if you want... upgrade the clutch, and after all that your car will be more than ready to handle serious horsepower. not to mention you'll understand your car better, and hopefully be able to drive it better so you don't total it a day or so after getting a turbo. this forum doesnt need anymore totaled 240's
oh, and when it comes to performance parts, don't be cheap. reputable shops don't cary ebay parts for a reason! save for the parts you want, it will be worth it.
