So the challenge remains to be a super car. This is a very good challenge, I'm surprised some of the guys in the big cities haven't just passed by their local Ferrari dealership.Ziggy1621 wrote: - nearly $200k

A prius is also quite aerodynamic...... Not all super car's are, look at the drag coefficient of say a countach for example lol.300ZXttZMAN wrote:True. But IMHO the GTR is an exotic. It may not have the look of the exotic but its drag coefficient is that of a sharp lined exotic like the diablo ect. Hence why it is known as the "super car that breaks all the rules".
By your definition of exotic any foreign car like the previously mentioned prius fits the bill if all it has to be is originating of a distant foreign country. And there is plenty i would put up against a boxter lol. Really i think the point of the challenge was to get a pick next to a car that isnt seen by most on a daily basis, i see porsches daily and dont consider them anything special unless it starts getting into the gt3rs, gt2rs, carrera gt etc catagories. And the first two are still based off the 911 which again isnt special it's just a horribly designed car lol.Ziggy1621 wrote:GTR is exotic by defnition: "Originating in or characteristic of a distant foreign country" But we get the point, it needs to be a sweet car at the same time. Well, not many cars can sit next to even a Boxer and keep up, and the Carerra is quite a bit faster... But as Mark said, Nolimit made the challenge, so he makes the call![]()
Me too, I don't think anyone is arguing though we are simply explaining what our own understand the terms are.Ace2cool wrote:I love it when we argue semantics. It's so cute.

Its actually funny I remeber a thread that went on for hundreds of pages on NASIOC where the two sides of the argument were whether the WRX was a "Sports car" or not, now that was CUTE.
Damn, missed this...and for the record I meant a Carrera GT of course, left out the GT.NolimitZ32 wrote:Me too, I don't think anyone is arguing though we are simply explaining what our own understand the terms are.Ace2cool wrote:I love it when we argue semantics.
