he is known as butters on other sites he was going for an "old school" bumperless look so he tucked his bumper and swapped the 87-89 front end to get the better more modern sleepy eye look

Only problem with dental floss is that it isn't very strong. Fishing line works so much better. Be sure to wear thick gloves to protect your fingers from getting sliced open.

I really love the Charcoal color. I plan to paint my car that color, as long as changing my front end to the 88-89 front end. I'm also loving the Z31's with the RB swaps. I plan to do the RB25DET swap once I get another car to use for a daily driver. Cheers.

It's an engine swap. RB25DET from a Skyline R33.

It's actually my mother-in-law's Z31, but I got it for her and do all the work on it, so she lets me take it out and play now and then.

Here's my tire after two runs at a local amatuer drifting event:

Damn, I like this thread..... Makes me want my old z31 back.

BTW, this is my dream car right here: ....if only I had 5g to spend. Still for sale on ebay right now.

1986 300zx turbo in dark grey with black analoge interior with a 5sp...... nothing in the world could ever be better.
