I know you're having no fun in the snow up there, Franko...

So maybe you'll be happy to see my day's misery.

This is NOT supposed to happen in Seattle in mid-April:

Knew it might snow, but for some reason I decided to take this car this morning...

When I really should have taken this car...

Can someone from California please send some warm air? I'd like for spring to come sometime before August.

Ahhhhh . . . now you understand how frustrating it has been.

otoh, it did make it to 24° C today [75.2°F] . . . most of our snow is gone . . . and I'm soon to get my bike out of storage (it needs to be put back together after a bit of work this winter).

Feel bad for you, EV, really I do *stiffles giggles*

over here its been up in the mid 80s easy. not much rain, but a lot of vog (volcanic fog) due to a wind shift that's carrying it eastward over most of the state, rather than away. the vog has been pretty bad for maybe 4 weeks now, a steady haze and makes it difficult for lots of folks to breathe, especially those with asthma or respiratory problems.

but no snow where i'm at. can't say i've been in the snow before, well, sorta.

I wouldn't trade with you. Snow sucks... but hurricanes and old people suck more.

I think sypmathies are in order for our Western Canadian friends.

One reason to be glad to live "out east" -- winter ends before the middle of May [he says, hoping that what they got doesn't hit here]

Nah, just a ton of rain now. Still doesn't help me any... I need clear and dry to continue my project. And I'd like to have some warm weather one of these days so I can oh, I don't know, kick this cold I've had for the past month?

What's the minimum age to own a condo in Florida? 75? 80?

Small earthquate indeed... small even by Seattle's standards (our last was a... 6.4 I think?). Want to play with a REAL earthquake? Move to SoCal. Nothing like a little 8.0 to get the blood flowing.

Oh, and with the climate going all wacky on us, something happened this year that has never happened in WA before... not only did we get a tornado, but it touched down. Not in the country, either... right in Vancouver. Given that our weather patterns are supposed to make this impossible, yeah... uhm... not good.
