Day 2... wire mining! Pulling out some of the crap that I don't need.... but realizing that doesn't even put a dent in this crap yet.

Saw a lot of wires going nowhere when I installed the blower for the AC. I'll be doing something similar when I'm changing the dashboard.

I'm still in the process of making all this work. I have the ignition completely separated and working, and then the new electric fan wired and voltage gauge wired separate from the rest of the harness. Headlights are separate, and work as well! I still have tons of wires... still figuring out what a lot of them do and what can be ridded of. Right now, I have no working blinkers, tail lights or brake lights... but I am THAT close to a completely functional simplified harness! I'll let you know once I have those things working and what ends up being left.

I take it that's a painless wiring set up? how much did that cost?

As of right now... everything is still the stock wiring, and I have manually pulled all the crap that doesn't need to be there. I have wired a few things back up, but overall the cost is minimal so far. The reason I have no working lights is because I pulled one too many relays

I'd forgo the relay anyway. you can get a 5 dollar old school pull switch that can handle the amps of your lights. It's what I'm gonna do when I get in there.

Oh, I know. I have the headlights working currently, but I still have to make the tail lights, brake lights and blinkers work.
