Is it finally done? Pics of that thing have been floating around for years.

Would be interested in seeing a translated version of that article.

What, they couldn't find any headlight fairings? They will need them at the end of the quarter. Wonder if they did anything about the notorious high speed front end lift on those cars? Deeper chin spoiler should help.

Should be very interesting down by the traps!

Love the intercoolers. Wonder how much they diminish radiator efficiency?

There are some guys doing this on the HybridZ.org site. Probably the most technical site on the net for hobby types.

I'm diggin' the hell out of that wet sump turbo oil drain system... goes right into the stock pan.

Is it just me, or can anyone else see a transmission adapter for his manual??? I don't see one on there.

Looks like that he used the stock auto trans bellhousing and then used an adapter plate at the rear to connect to his manual trans.

I guess in some ways it is easier this way than trying to get everything lined up between the bellhousing and engine.

Wow, I guess it is finally finished.

I still love the IC piping. I wish I could see how they run the hotpipes. And I cant believe theres no intake piping in front of the turbos.

Or how much the fender flares diminish the overall Cd of the car? Or how much the choice of paint color diminishes the thermal conductivity of those metal panels? Or sometimes I wonder how much our future quality of life will be diminished by these zany ubiquitous technological inventions such as wifi internet, cellular phones, gps, etc. that constantly bombard our bodies with waves that you just know will cause undue amounts of neurological damage in the long run. Damn you electricity and technology! Let's all move back into the mountains and caves! Last one there in their Q is a rotten egg!

About the transmission: you can see a rectangular adapter plate right behind the bellhousing...

The car is driven, and afaik, I believe the owner/builder does drive it to a lot of events across Japan. Too bad his car will blow up though since he went beyond original oem specs on, well, the whole car.
