I'm still recovering from a fantastic weekend at NOPI Nationals 2007 in Atlanta, GA. It was a fantastic meet of great cars and great people. NICOclub once again dominated the show, taking 1st place for the 3rd consecutive year in the club participation award.

So.. time to start planning for 2008.

Here's my vision:A line of 12-15 dead sexy 240sx convertible's parked under a 240sxconvertible.com banner across from the NICO tent at NOPI in Sept. 2008.

I'm calling you guys out! Start making plans to be there in 2008! You have a full year to plan for it. Stash a few dollars aside each month (it's not very expensive), and start saving a up a couple days of vacation (I only missed one day of work this year) and start planning to make it to the show in '08.

07 - Verts in attendance...

Florida240sx - even though you have a couple other nice cars.. I'd sure love to have you bring the 'vert again.

Repoman - Same thing next year buddy!

Biggie - Next year we'll get you a better parking spot right away!

For 2008 -

I'll have no excuses not to bring down my 'vert.

Florida guys - Madcow, etc.. there are a ton of 'verts down there.. you guys have to get up to GA for his show! I want at least 5 'verts from Florida.

Dexter - you and you're wife will have a fantastic weekend. MI isn't that far a drive.

CMKelly - NC isn't too far.. you'll have that SR swap done by then.

94_240sx - It'll be cooler in Atlanta than Dallas area.. you have to bring that sexy white 'vert!

Loki - you'll have a replacement 'vert by then.

Ish - You gotta show off that car in public!

NJ guys.. Powerzamcam drift 'verts, Chi, you guys can caravan down.

JRB240 - Josh.. you'll have that 'vert perfect by next Sept.

West Coast guys.. I know it's a long drive... But what if you guys got together and hired a car carrier for the weekend.. AZHitman in Phoenix, All the San Diego guys, 110 Octane, other Cali guys.. etc..AZHitman - Best in show award waiting to happen..

Tenkawa Akito.. Cmon Bart! I know VIR is close after NOPI... but you can make NOPI for next year if you start planning now!

If I didn't mention your name yet... don't worry.. you are NOT off the hook.. I'm going to bug the hell out of all members of this forum for the next 11 months

I know things come up, plans change, cars break down, etc.. So I'm going to work to get 25 members to commit to attending next years show. Hopefully most of those will be able to make it.

What a fun car to roadtrip in. I love rolling around top down and hope to have some more mods to the car by next year. I'm working on modding TWO s13's, so it may come slowly just depending on how business is. I was able to get my five lug conversion done along with RS*R springs, KYB AGX's all the way around and Cusco camber plates in front. Right now she is sporting s14 SE wheels with Yokohama A008R tires which are toward the end of their useful life, but still stick like Mr1der to a NOPI model.

I have the pics downloaded on my computer at home and I'll get them posted tonight.

I do have the issue of working on 2 S13s at once as well. But definately want the Vert 5spd by next year. But if my coupe has the turbo on it, it'll be hard not to bring it.

I'm gonna have to slim down my heard of 240's so I can concentrate on the vert, but I will hope to have it ready by then.

Looks like the Kouki may have to go

I might have a replacement by then, I dunno. Every time I see a decent vert go on the market it gets picked up pretty fast

Loki, with all of helping you out you'll get the right 'vert at the right price at the right time. No way you won't make it.

Would be cool, I'll probably do it if I'm still a vert owner next fall.

Yeah, but the S13 has so much more potential than my 'vert .

We all want what we can't have .

Did you have any plan to come over for Oktobeer-fest in Cincy this weekend?

Seth, you called us out!!! Now we have no choice but to go. ATL is only 6 hours from here.....I had hoped to go this year but football, baseball (I coach), etc. got in the way. Next year my oldest will be able to drive and I plan on being there.

Still not sure if I'm going SR or KA-T!!!

See you soon.

Vert will be here next year..... It might be my tow vehicle muahahaha. It was so sweet driving 460miles with the top down. Then on the way back I hit some rain for about 80miles. Just kept on going nothing was going to ruin my drive this year.

Easy Greg....now, now.

I know you thought I would never see your post...hahahahaha.

Anyhow, yea now that my vert is a track slut I'm pretty sure she won't be winning any car show trophies anytime soon. Finally getting to use the car for what it's meant for. A bunch of sideways action!.....until I spun a rod bearing. Boooo

Oh well Greg. I guess I will see you guys out in Virginia at the GT Live event, right?

By the way, My woman and I are almost finished with her Super Made S14. It's nuts. I'll bring pics to VIR.
