So after being turbo for about four months, i finally took the lady to the dyno and got a readout of what she could do. I was hoping to break 200rwhp at 12 psi but alas, the dyno guy only took her to ten psi for some odd reason. (i think he didnt push the pedal far enough. lol.) Now to make some disclaimers. My a/f's are royally screwed up according to this chart so please ignore them. While on the dyno, my DP was halfway connected to my exhaust and i found this out on the way home when they seperated. So of course, the a/f's would be off since the sensor is at the tail pipe. Not to mention that when me and my friend were tuning, we were getting elevens and twelves all day with his LM-1. Next disclaimer is the torque. Now with stock internals, my torque should be higher than the HP. I attribute the low torque to the halfway connected DP, and my exhaust leak between the mani and block. So enough chat, on to the goodies.

N/A Dyno with AEM Intake and BRM 3" Dual Tip Catback Exhaust (thanks to greg )

Next up, at ten psi with my current setup:Log ManiStr8 T3 (60 trim compressor, .63 a/r exhaust)SR 370cc injectors controlled by SAFC300zx tt fuel pump

thanks virus, as u can see, the numbers are nearing the threshold of the stock maf and injectors. More money is now needed for the bigger injectors and maf. i am happy tho, i doubled my HP. lol.

Where's the torque? With a turbo that nicely sized I don't see how you can make such low torque numbers.

Check your timing.

my timing is currently like 13-14. Now i know thats conservative but remember that i am accounting for 12psi. Also i know that timing is what makes the difference b/w what your numbers are and whether you detonate. I just like to play it safe. thanks for the quote broke, reminds me that i need to fix it lol.

MMM boost....Any problems with that MBC?I've heard good things and horror stories. But from what I've red it seems the horrro stories are because they didn't tighten the MBC correctly.

timing is being controlled by me adjusting base timing. i wish i could control it better but it is was works at the moment and it is what the wallet will allow me. it does feel good, believe me it does.

the mbc works nicely. no complaints. i have only overboosted once and that was to 13 psi but other than that, no complaints...................once u tighten it properly, i dont see how it could fail

halfway connected dp shouldnt affect it that much and neither should a leaking mani unless it's so bad that the wg isnt opening which i doubt is the case judging by the zero lag comment. 10 psi=10psi....unless....where are you reading boost from? maybe you have a boost leak somewhere in your ic piping.

and are you sure the exhaust was even leaking at the dyno? cause it's something that you'd notice easily. if you couldnt hear it yourself, i'm sure the dyno operator would've told you.

anyways, get that thing fixed and take it back

btw, how many degrees can base timing be adjusted at the dist?

well im in the process of fixing all the little issues as we speak. the only thing holding me up is the removal of the a/c line cuz i dont have a wrench big enough to loosen it and i obviously then dont have a wrench big enough to pull off the other line that im replacing it with. I am reading boost from the fpr. I am going to check my IC piping tho for leaks, but im a bit skeptical as to if there are any cuz the car wouldnt idle well if there was one. And as for the adjustment of base timing, i dont think i can retard the distributor any more..........
