Just wondering what you guys are looking for in US events. I know that a lot of people hated Formula D and D1 is growing in the US. The real question is what do you guys want in an event?

I went to the D1GP driver's search at the California Speedway as well as the Formula D event on Aug. 29th at Irwindale, and while both were enjoyable, the Formula D event was waaay better. I got there in time to see the driver introductions for the sweet 16 and that was just badass, I think I'm still getting crumb rubber out of my hair. But I digress, I can't see why people didn't like the Formula D event, with the one exception of seating during the competition. I opted to stand outside the fence rather than take a seat in the grandstand just to get a little closer to the action, but then I was just stuck standing. You could even meet and greet the drivers between rounds, as well as see their rides up close and personal. This event was also coupled with HIN, so there was plenty of eye candy for when there wasn't any drifting going on. I honestly didn't know what to expect, since it was my first time going to an event like that, but I wasn't disappointed.

Well, that's all I got.
