Me too. They were playing ABC, ummm, few other ones. I love MJ, but uh not with TERRIBLE bass and them singing along with it on the top of their lungs. :o

The worst when I lived in the dorms was the guy that lived next door one year who was a DJ. His mixes were decent, but he would play that **** so loud that I couldn't hear myself think. Sometimes it was ok, but ****, it just gets annoying when you're trying to work on school stuff and you can feel someone elses music in the furniture around you. The MOST annoying part though, was that he would leave the volume way up even when he wasn't playing music, and when he was talking on AIM the sounds were super loud. ****ing annoying.

Thank you for feeling my pain my brotha!

If my room is fvcking shaking then your music is too goddamn loud!!!

Oh, and now she's moved on to some wonderful hip hop, i.e. guys barking and shouting with an "instrumental" in the background.

Sounds like someone needs to invest in a Macintosh tube amp, some Infinity Reference Series speakers and an Iron Maiden CD. :)

That'll fix 'em.

A loud, sustained dose of Insane Clown Posse in their general direction should straighten your troubles out in no time flat (tested and proven!)

They sound like spiders. Spiders don't like light and loud noises. I say that you buy some 10,000 watt bulbs as well as a couple of speakers and a Tool CD. Should solve your problems... or at least get you arrested.

my suitemates pissed me and my roommate off. we both had 8 am classes but they were up till 4 wrestling (gay soccer team thing I guess) and drinking and beating on the wall. so they went to be around 5 I'd guess. We woke up at 7 AM and I turned on my twin 10" PA Monitors and 100x2 amplifier playing "BASS Outlaws" and then we came back from class around 9 PM, the dudes were so ****ing pissed that they ended up making threats against our lives and campus security showed up.

I will never ever ever ever ever share an apartment or house with anyone ever again. I dont get how you guys can live in dorms? No privacy, its expensive, and they watch you like a hawk.

Sounds like Cuba!

Housing is free for me during the summer since I work full time for the school. That's the only reason why I'm here. I couldn't get any other internship this summer. And during the school year, 90% of the students here live on campus because there are no apartments in the immediate area, just rowhomes and those cost between 900-1200 a month to rent. And most of my friends would rather have their school bill it with tuition than to have to worry about utilities, etc.

My roommate managed somehow to activate the building's sprinkler system while swinging from one of it's sensors in the lobby and flooded the whole building down from the 5th floor.

The guys in the basement had to swim out after they were woken up at 2AM...:)

It was just great to come back to that after a party.

police officer: Uhh, so you're edward's roomate?me: yup. what'd he do this time?police officer: just look at the building, son.me: oh you mean the water flowing out of the lobby?police officer: ............me: how long does it take to get a restraining order?
