well i got it....no one really clarified for me (see! )and it seemed worth it 4 $40 as it was....so here it is...

Turbo Pic #1

and Turbo Pic #2

i have more pics if anyone wants to get a better look @ it....

it says it's a Garrett M24 (as if u couldn't figure that out) and that it's A/R .60 (compressor) and .80 (exhaust)

on another note does ne1 have good tips on cleaning turbos...as in a soaking solution, rather than scrubbing...

opinons, questions, thoughts to share on the matter?

seems like a really good buy, if its ARs are like you say, it sounds like a truck turbo.

could be good for big power, nice find, but my question is .... where are you going to find a flange for that?

Take the compressor and exhaust housings off and clean them seperate. You can have them sand blasted as well, works much faster. The center cartridge can be cleaned with any typical cleaner. I took some Break Free and soaked my old T3 in it for a day, then cleaned it. WOrked like a champ.

if you are looking for a new intercooler, or a used one, ebay always has a ton of stuff on there.

if you go into a junkyard, look for a starion on NPR, those are relatively good front mounts for the price.

if it is a diesel truck turbo the wastegate could be set pretty high. you could probably rig up a bike pump pressureized setup to test where the wastegate is completely open, and then get a reading from the gauge, it wouldnt be exact but you would get an estimate.just a thought

http://www.cheapturbo.com has some sweet PWR intercoolers...they are a bit pricey but are damn nice.
