Well guys, I got rid of her :crybaby

This was the car that I got rid of:

Image

She was great. 8 cylinders of power. Massive torque and the full megan exhaust sounded great. She owned the highway. She was low to the ground. Mean and mysterious with tinted windows all around including the windshield. She was perfect, it was everything I could ever want.

Why did I get rid of her? I now live in Jersey and things werent going to work out. I was slowly killing her up north and I knew I would take her to the grave once snow fell on the ground. Could I have stayed with her? Sure but at what cost??!! Raising her back up, new winter tires and pads and rotors would have to be done in the coming months. Invest time and money on a car that has close to 100K miles? Wasnt going to work. She was making weird noises and shocks and suspension were rough.

I left her one morning and found another one.....My old one had a nice a** but the new one....oh boy... :naughty:
Curves. Curves all over. And the smell? Absolutely intoxicating. And the way she handles the roads up north is just unbelievable.

I have nothing more to say other than it has been a pleasure. These cars are VERY underrated and all of the electronics available in 2006 are Still not even standard on cars in 2014. These cars are a bargain and well priced. Very under rated. You guys are lucky to have these cars but for me...it was a bad feeling to part ways. I left her for a younger one. Go ahead...JUDGE ME!!! But I feel like I will be happy and comfortable for a while.

Take it easy guys. I might pass by in the future.....send me a PM if you guys are planning the liberty state park BBQ. I'll get an email that I'll see. Farewell

HERE IS THE NEW ONE:

2011 FX35. 26K miles. 7 speed automatic. As you can see from pics it has around view camera. The sound system in this is the upgraded version with the subwoofer inside the spare tire. Sounds much better than the 14 speaker surround in the M's

Also has the appearance package includes the larger rims and something else..not sure. It's AWD as well with cooled seats. Only has one disc slot but it plays all discs including DVD's. One feature i wasnt expecting is that it can rip music CD's. Yes, you can play CD's and record them in the hard drive. Bluetooth audio streaming. The only package that is missing has the lane departure warning and the radar cruise control. The gas tank is huge. It'll be a little over 80 dollars to fill up with premium fuel. I averaged 26mpg on my drive from NC to NJ. I was getting a range of 575 miles on one tank.

It handles like a car and not an suv. very little body roll when taking turns. It's tall but not to tall but gives me the clearance i wanted. Handles great and is quick. Any other questions feel free to ask! I'm loving it so far.

Oh yea and the best part of all, the cooled seats actually feel like they work!

That is one of THE best looking SUVs ever. Unlike the gopping tank-looking QX, the body has style, aggression, sport, and luxury all in one. The higher ride will serve you well in the winter and give you greater visibilty. It's also the perfect size - not big and bulky, not small and flimsy, just right. Best of luck to you and thanks for all the times you stepped in to help the rest of us. Stay well & safe!

No sir. I just took out my amp and sub and I'm planning on selling. But everything else stayed on the car when I traded it in.

Yea that was me. Been on their for a couple of years now. Liking the car so far. Kinda wish that I would have gotten the G37xS they also had that cost a lot less than the car I got but I'm sure the height will come into play when i park over the mountains of snow.

I like the height tho, I see alot. Kind of weird going from my lowered car to a jacked up car.

For a second I thought you bought the CR-V lol. Congrats on the FX. My brother just got a previous generation FX a couple weeks ago and loves it.
