yeah i know i searched and read for ever... but i want to know what intake manifold you guys are using. what power did you gain? do you like it? recommend it? stuff like that. i dont want this to turn into bashing one company or another. i want peoples experienced opnions. thanks

from what ive read is that u wont see significant gains from a intake manifold unless youre pushin some serious horsepower.not saying i wouldnt recommend it..i just dont think its needed.im runnin the stocker....just my two cents.

yea, i havn't bought an intake manifoldsimply because the stock one is pretty efficent as it is. same goes for the stock exaust mani. they are both pretty good as they are

we hand ported my stock one and i noticed probably about a 1-2 hp increase, due to smoother air flow and increased volume.

well i am going to be running about 450 hp from my sr. thats why i am wondering if the stocker can handle that

i saw ur mods list and by the looks of it u cant possibly be pushing 450hp.

Anything over about 350whp will show significant gains with a intake mani. There was a guy on fresh alloy I believe that dyno'ed before and after but I can't remember what the differences were.

The intake mani is going to act very similar to a cam where it makes the car continue to pull strong after 6K (and ultimately result in more power). I think the guy made like 40-60whp from the mani on a 350+whp setup.

i am not making 450 now but i have some money to spend right now so i can make it... i am trying to get all the right parts to make 450. i apologize for the confusion, but soon i will be making that much power but not right now
