You guys out there with the t3/t4 setup or the t4, are you guys have any problems with lag at all, i am thinking about making the jump to that, but i dont want something that takes until 5000 rpms to get boost, could you guys maybe compare it and tell me how much longer it takes to get boost than the t28

one of my buddies has a T3 turbo and it kicks in around 3000-3500 rpms.so the lag isnt that bad.its not a big improvement on the lower end though.i noticed barely any a difference between the T28 and the T3 in the lower rpms.

but if u max it out u will end up buying new turbo every couple months

i went bigger( T3-T04e w/.63 .60 Trim ) theres a little more lag but you make more power at lower psi because you move more air volume= big top end hp.

That's awesome. What psi do you see at 3500 rpm?

14psi @ 3,500rpm and 232rwhp @ 6,000rpm Good times goodtimes

just remember to get rid of the restrictive cat and get a test pipe, biggest exhaust you can find (Apexi GT 3.75), 3.5in down pipe. custom stainless steel full lenght top mount manifold, external waistgate (dumped into atmousphere,( less restrictive))

just keep the exhaust side as free flowing as possible

stainless steel full lenght tubular top mount is the best of the best but a little pricey as for waistgates i went with tial 42mm with 1.0lb bar and i just dump it into the ground, its less restrictive to the exhaust, plus it sounds hella tough when you boost

yeah i'm in the market for a exhaust mani that will allow the use of an externa wastegate. Are there any companies that make a reasonably priced well made mani. What are everyone's thoughts on log mani's vs. tubular? I wish I knew how to weld

i tried to take a look at your site, I didn't see any close ups of the welds. Do you have any pics of the welds and the collector? What kind of stainless is used? Do you offer a warranty on your manifolds? What designs do you offer for the SR20 rwd? I'm looking for a top mount.
