I need to find out the back story for this IRS notice that appeared in today's Oregonian.

I can only assume a Leprechaun or a Ferengi got in serious trouble with the IRS? Or TMS?

I'd rule out the Ferengi as it doesn't appear to be gold-pressed latinum. Any dragon sightings in the area?

I could see the IRS trying to lock up a dragon for not paying taxes.

I could see the dragon litigating with them because it isn't human.

Actually, not that strange. I have a friend whose late father feared the US economy was gonna collapse, (no, not during Obama's tenure, but when the budget deficits first began), so he had converted a portion of his savings to gold.

Makes sense. Either way I wasn't ready to read "355 gold bars for sale" at 7am on my first cup of coffee.
