The Storage Box in front of Shifter

Hey,
You know that little door thing that flips up to open the storage box behind it...the one in front of the shifter?? Is that removable? The reason I ask is that I would like to fabricate a hole in it to mount my satilite radio receiver into.

Is there a way to take it off, work on it and put it back in?

cvt,
pull down bottom chrome part of shift knob
pull pin out
lift knob
pull up on shifter trim around it
lift up box up half way, grip fingers under plastic dash trim & pull down
slide box outta there with a little work
