This has been the project for the last 2 weeks so far. I just rebuilt my sr20 i am using stock bottom end it has a built head. It is a s15 sr w/ s14 5 speed we r making everything ourselfs to fit a evo 8 turbo in there. Its been fun so far. We have a blog with videos and more info on the build Fabthis.com check it out.

If by evo 9 turbo you mean a 20g, then I hate to break it to you but forced performance and a few other places have alread beat you to it by offering a 20g with a t2 flange, so that its all but a bolt on for the sr. Hell I'm running one and eat cars running the 2871r as a snack.

But looks cool can't wat to see some finished pics

Sorry I should have explained more I'm not using a t2 flange I am using the twin scroll. Twin scroll is alot better then a t2 it also will cost me alot less to do this twin scroll then buy a t2 20g and manifold I'm not into cheap a** manifolds. So I am pretty sure this will be the only sr with a twin scroll evo turbo unless someone has seen this before?? Hopefully later down the road I will get a FP green

I'm not either, thats why I'm running a tomi manifold, another option is to have the stock manifold extrude(sp?) honed, but for what that cost you're only a few bucks short of buying the tomi manifold.

But either way it should be sweet when its done and the FP green turbo is awesome, spools more like an 18g but makes the power of a 20g plus a little more for good measure.

There is a guy down here on Boca Chica Key who's got a similar setup, he's having trouble with traction when it spools... lol

From the looks of it, me thinks you would have been better off making a top mount manifold for it, but I say this not knowing where the oil feed and drain lines are, or how much trouble it is to clock the turbo.

But It still looks awesome, I can't wait so see some dyno #'s and some vids of it running.

We cant clock the turbo cause the internal wastegate. We did look into doing a top mount but again the wastegate was sticking up crazy a** high lol. Im pretty sure that we will have her started up tomm.

^ lol yea your right^

Yes I will be keeping PS as for the AC I have never had AC in the car so I dont know if the set up will clear everything for AC. Ill have pics up tomm of the intake im not 100% sure how I want to run the intake yet. Im sure that we could have paired the runners but as u were saying the extra piping in return longer runner effect the spool time. I dont think that the runners would be as equal length as they r now if we did pair the runners as well. idk its done now so we wont know till I fab up a different style evo SR manifold. The project is coming closer to being finished.enjoy

Here is my sweet a** relocation bracket

Here is the kit

Here it is all bolted up. It looks clean and lots of room.

^ I didint have the room to work with, do you read. There is no sense in putting in retard sharp bends to pair the runners, it would be redundant, think. Yep super engineer . That was 1 of many reasons for bottom mount including angle of the wastegate, not having to buy new intercooler piping, dump tube design, not boiling my BMC, etc. Dont worry buddy u should of read more on that TR thread before u try to not flame me. Its just not for CG
