My inherently flexible vert makes all kinds of noises but a high pitched squeak was driving me nuts every time I hit uneven pavement , a dip or a speedbump. The culprit turned out to be where rubber bumpers meet the closed hood. The rubber had hardened (think old pencil erasers) and was rubbing through the paint on the underside of the hood. Hard rubber + bare metal = squeak. Couple of self-adhesive felt furniture feet did the trick. FYI: these come in various thicknesses and can be swapped out to determine how flush your hood closes.

SCORE! Good fix.

BTW, those bumpers are still available from Nissan dealers.

Also, a triangulated front strut tower brace from CP Racing is your BEST defense against that cowl flex - I LOVE mine.
