The Search for the Perfect Nismo Cat-Back

So I’m trying to find the best deal for a Nismo Cat-Back for the 2.5s (2010S-RSD25) and I’m sad to note that most places raised the prices of the system. Sounds like collusion! Does anyone know of any better, meaning cheaper, places to buy from?

this might be a stretch but with all the **** ive gone through with the car and in addition to writing a letter to nissan, my dealer offered to give me some type of "reimbursement" for my troubles..(other than forgiving some monthly payments)..so after much deliberation and figuring out what i wanted i came up with asking for eibachs and the nismo cat back...we settled on me paying 500$ flat for both and installed from the dealer....

soo....i guess unless u were in my predicament or have a history of warranty repair/replacement from the dealer, i'd say you are SOL..... ...goodluck dude.

I got my nismo exhaust for around $650 (dealer invoice) since I have family that works at a dealership. I know the MSRP is around $950 I believe so the $700 prices aren't really that bad i guess.

As far as installation, I did mine in my garage. Took about 30 min with 2 people, pretty straight forward, did have an air compressor though.

I called a couple of dealers in the area and got one to match the best price I found online. They gave it to me for $855 after tax, which was a little better than online prices + shipping.

It's worth looking in to; dealers have a lot of leg room with these things. It all kind of depends which employee you get on the phone and what kind of a mood they're in though.

thats crazy gachrist... i have a hook up at the dealer and they gave me a quote at invoice of 791.84 (without tax) and the list price was 989.80 which is just ridiculous and that they couldnt do any better! so for now im just waiting...
