The only person that seems to be surprised about this is Rush himself. This is blessing in disguise for Rush. Now, he can focus on what he does best instead of trying to own an NFL team.

The Rams organization will not loose any sleep over the decision that was made today and I can assure you that every player in the NFL is also excited that this isn’t going through. The NFL doesn't need anymore distractions.

I am SOO glad that players of the Rams spoke up about their discontent of having Limbaugh as an owner. I am not a fan of Limbaugh so I agree with the majority of those involved in this deal.

At the same time I don't think politics belong in football and I am a firm believer in "what happens in one's personal life shouldn't effect what they do professionally" but Limbaugh is one of the few people I hope goes away forever.
Rush Limbaugh: ESPN Article wrote:"This is not about the NFL, it's not about the St. Louis Rams, it's not about me," Limbaugh said. "This is about the ongoing effort by the left in this country, wherever you find them, in the media, the Democrat Party, or wherever, to destroy conservatism, to prevent the mainstreaming of anyone who is prominent as a conservative.
I laugh because I can almost bet that 80% of NFL owners are Republican, I could be wrong but I couldn't find these stats online, if some one can find it I would appreciate it.

Goodell nailed it on the head with this one:
Rodger Goodell: ESPN Article wrote:Goodell added: "I've said many times before, we're all held to a high standard here. I would not want to see those comments coming from people who are in a responsible position in the NFL -- absolutely not."

What was he expecting after comments like this one:

"Look, let me put it to you this way: the NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it."

He has no to blame but himself, but instead he blames the left and Democratics party What a fcuk'n bone head.
