Oh no its definately not a sports car, but for what it is its a blast to drive!SkiHound wrote:I really like my Rogue so far. And compared to its competition, it's way more fun to drive. The Rav4 feels like a boat in comparison. It's a great combination of practical and fun. But it aint a true sports car.
Yeah the CVT does work well I think that's one of the may things I can't get enough of in the Rogue... but the paddle shifters sure are cool when you need to make a quick pass.exeunt wrote:I think its just surprising that you can jump into an SUV and feel like you're driving a car, and a sporty car at that. What has always surprised me is that I'm a stick-shift buff, and I thought I would miss it, which is why I invested in the paddle shifting. However I find that the CVT is so well tuned that its often better than shifting manually, and I only really use it for quick adjustments when I want to pass someone.
I'm definitely in the club of loving the Rogue's drive though
I with you Ed. Sure there are plenty of other types of vehicles that are fun to drive, but when you compare the Rogue to others in its class such as the CRV, RAV4 it comes out on top.
