Hi,
I am new to this group but have been a loyal Infiniti owner since the original G35 coupe came out a decade ago. I am currently in a leased G37 and am in the final yr. I think I will buy my next car. I am looking at the G Conv. How big of a discount should I expect if I wait until December to buy ( on average )? I realize that it is up to Infiniti to decide rebates and such but does anyone have a ballpark idea of how yrs past have gone?
Thanks in advance

I would wait until Feb. Best time to buy a 13 leftover imo. Plus, they will be pimping out the Q50s.

Unfortunately the current G37 is going to be sold until mid-2015 so you won't get the discounts expected when a model is replaced (by the Q50 in this case).

Not many posts on this forum are recent...but this one is.
I did my research here before purchasing my G37 convertible. But I bought used, not new. The last comment up there is correct in that Infiniti WILL BE continuing the current model thru 2015. But it will not be called G37. The same car, with minor updates, will now be called the Q60 (I believe Q50 connotes the 4-door sports sedan).
This "Q" designation is just a marketing rebadging in the convertible case, but it is a different car in the 4door version.
SO....end-of-model discounts will really not be the case even though the G37 name drops. End-of-season discounts may still be found IF you are in the states up north....as there really is no end of season in places like GA, FL,TX,CA etc.
Have you also considered buying a used, or Dealer certified pre-owned G37 (like me).
I bought a 2010 that originally stickered at $51K for $28,400...G37, auto, Premium Pkg, Nav Pkg, 38,000 miles.
You might be only interested in a new car, but now that the G37 vert is 3 to 4 yrs old, many good condition used examples are coming to market. Just an idea.
Mine is still under warranty til Jul 14 and before then I will buy an extended warranty good thru 2017 or 70,000miles.
