it costs a bit of money but for quality, driveability and even trackability for smooth enagagement, i say the ATS carbon clutch 1.5 way would be your best bet, not fully locked, smooth engagement and no noise if shimmed correctly.

otherwise...just get your hands on a VLSD and that will just be better than an open diff. but still not really good.

How about the S15 HLSD?You can find them on Ebay for reasonable prices...

They work great unless your lifting a rear tire for some reason. I ran my first autox since installing it last month and it worked great.

Helical is the way to go, it's torque biasing so it distributes to which wheel needs it. I'd get a vlsd before and aggressive clutch-type, but that's just me.

Anyone tried the OBX - Quaife Helical knock off?

Seems pretty inexpensive for around $400 ( I know you get what you pay for--but........)

After surfing the forums --it seems like they had some issues with Hondas in the beginning, but seemed to work them out. Does your buddy have first hand experience with the shavings?

Guess I will have to pony up the bucks for a real one --just my cheap side showing.

Most new gear sets will have to wear together a bit when they are first used though, that could be what the metal shavings are from...still, a diff is a pretty important piece, and the S15 isn't that expensive.
