They sound sooooooooooo awesome! It sound like mini glas packs. I never was so happy with wasting my money, except when I bought my G, of course. If my Injen cold air intake wasn't missing a part it would be on too.

I don't know. I'm not sure what my baseline was. Maybe after I have had my CAI on a couple week.

Nice I wish I could hear it. Never heard or seen a G/Z modded in any way. Neither body or performance wise. Not even with rims.

BRM is an excellent exhaust. I got one on my Sentra and absolutely love the sound. I've had many people come up to me and be like "how do you find an exhaust that sounds so low-pitched on a 4 cylinder? that's awesome." At idle, the exhaust sounds like a nice throaty 6 cylinder aftermarket exhaust.

I still want a damned BRM s13 exhaust. Maybe if I can pull my stock exhaust off and get it to AZ, we can get one done.

Does the G feel quicker/more responsive?

If memory serves, I have access to a factory s13 exhaust, just chillin waiting to be scrapped, sold, whatever....

What do we need to do? ship it to AZhitman? To be used as a template? This shouldn't be too hard, all I need to do is grab the pipe and drop it off at the UPS store...

I'm waiting for the titanium 1mm walled S14 exhaust sans muffler packing... I like it loud.

The Z sounds incredible with an exhaust. A local guy has one. Sounds almost as good as my SR :D

What do you mean?

We ship the pipe to AZ, to be used as a template. Then, either test-fit on a donor car in the AZ locale, or ship to Repo, as a belated Christmas gift. (for guinea pig duty) :)

Ok, I thought you meant that it would just be used as a template, and then shipped out to the masses, no testing needed :)

You can ask the Hitman himself about bench testing and/or field testing that BRM would do.

I'm just suggesting that I might have a factory exhaust assy available no hassle, no charge, so repo doesn't have to pull his exhaust and wait for it to be used, then returned.

The exhausts are made in FL. AZ is just the one in charge.

And I would imagine the shop where they are made in FL would need the entire car, not just a template exhaust. With a larger diameter exhaust, it may not fit just being the same shape.

No all nighter in the garage. After I talked to you I went and opened up my air intake box 1st to find a piece was missing. Then I was on the phone to Injen for an hour. I was all bummed out so I got involved in something else and the next thing I know a member of the household ;) had went and installed it in 1 1/2 hrs.

Now what do I do with the stock muffler?:D

1.5 hours? WOW! You, my friend, are incredible! I'm so glad you like it.

Repo, that's a great idea. Let's work something out with Phil.

BTW, I now have a Phoenix manufacturer who could probably do wonders with the S13 exhaust - Those guys are friggin' ARTISTS with pipe - ask G-3-5 how it looks.

Let's see if there's any demand for it and get rockin' on it - I don't want to leave out any of my NICO brothas!

Also, Torry - Thanks for the plug. I'm really surprised the Spec-V catbacks aren't selling better.... Perhaps folks just don't know how good they really are?

I am awaiting the last week of January... so I can call BRM up and get setup to carry those Z33 headers as well as the B15 exhausts.

I have a few projects I'd like to run past some ears at BRM as well.

AZ, I think the Sentra exhausts aren't selling well because BRM doesn't really sponsor much on any sentra-based websites. Stromung seams to be the popular Spec V exhaust. However, I personally like the BRM better. People like the stromung cuz it's dual tip and looks a lot like the stock muffler, but I like the single tip BRM. It still looks stock-like. The tip is only like 3". The sounds are similar, but I think the BRM is slightly less raspy than the Stromung.

Although, on a side note, I will say this...the BRM on the Spec V is VERY raspy if you have headers. But that's only under hard throttle...with headers.

Torry - Let's talk more about this. I've got the green light to do some advertising for BRM, I just have to be selective and wise with my budget. I'll trust your judgement... Let's look into some options.

Alan - Let me know - I'm all ears.:D

p.s. I've learned that a lot of the Spec guys run the Hotshot header. Therefore, I always recommend the 22" silencer for this application.

The silencer is a MUST with hotshot headers. I had the exhaust first, with no silencer...and when I put the headers on the car was intolerable. During my test drive, I drove straight to a muffler shop and had a silencer welded in.

Is it the same if you have headers from a company other than hot shot?

I would assume so, but I don't know for sure. I think the reason it's so unbearbly loud with headers is because you are removing one of the cats when putting on headers.

It's not bad if you get a silencer. Then it's only loud if it's cold and under hard throttle. Urgh...only raspy I should say. It's loud anytime you are under hard throttle ;)

But the nice thing is, at idle, and hwy cruise...it has a really nice tone. Hwy cruise can be loud for rear-seat passengers, but who cares....it's your car, not theirs :)

The Hotshot header is a relatively inexpensive unit, and therefore, is likely constructed of thinner-walled tubing... May have an impact on sound.

I'm thinking the replacement of a restrictive cat with a tubular pipe is what makes it louder.
