And they say all we have is football in Nebraska

To put it easily its not easy by no means. You will have to change the front clip to the silvia with out the pop up lights, and get a side mount intercooler, and just to be safe find someone who knows nissans very well. It will take some time to do. It is not SIMPLE, and I Would not attempt it my self. It would be much easier to do the sr20det swap and the motor is much cheaper, http://www.jspecengines.8m.com/nissanpage.html this site has a good example. It cost me almost 9k after all of the labor and 10 months of driving a pos to school and work. but it is worth the wait. I can't give much info, I paid for mine to be dont through ProFormance Tech here in town.

I would look in to some shops who do supras, they would be able to help.

Question, how are you making 493 horsepower on new "Greedy" T77 TurboS. Are you not boosting? Just curious because you can make 500rwhp on a pair of HKS GT2530s. Also, what did you do about the steering? How did you mount it? Also, since when does JET make a RB26 chip. Also, how did you get traction? I will be doing this swap shortly, so I guess I suppose I know a thing or two that I'm guessing you don't.... For some reason I just don't believe you, especially when you then go on to quote an "importer" and I use that term very loosely who scams people on engines...

Oh yeah, its also a RB25DET transmission, not a DETT. I'll leave this thread open and wait with baited breath for your response. If I don't see one soon I'll just close it, no need to spread blatant lies and misinformation.

How only 493, simple, cracked header, broke exaust, no cold air intake, origional (factory) oil pan, W/ a dent the size of a quarter, the chip is from the ka24e that was in the car, reprogrammed by jet, when the ka24e was still in it, and traction, Mille Miglia Avia 18x7.5 with 215/35-18 rubber. My car is by no means done either. Over due for a oil change, needs new plugs and the injectors are extreamly dirty, it proably could use the cap and rotor cleaned also. Also the turbos are T78 not T77, sorry for that misinformation. And like I said in the origional post I PAID for mine to be done, I did not do it myself.

Daunttless it am not going to fight you on this if you belive that i am lying so be it, but it is non-sense that you did not understand what I was trying to say on the origional post, my message was to do the SR20DET swap and try to avoid the RB26DETT, due to cost, time, labor, and fustration.

1) You use turbo manifolds, and you would have two of them with a twin turbo setup. Also, I can't even imagine running 2 T78s. Also, you can't use stock manifolds for T78s, which means you'd have to have brand new, rather expensive manifolds unless they were custom made, and then they'd still be brand new.

2) You don't use a cold air intake with a turbo car.

3) You can't use the factory oil pan.

4) You can't use the KA24E ECU or chip.

5) You can use a FMIC with it.

6) You can use popup headlights with it.

If you aren't lying, sorry, but you really haven't given me any reason to believe you...

does he know how big a T78 is? i dont think there is any way to fit two T78's in that engine bay.....I'd also be willing to say it would have to RHD to fit two T78's even in the engine bay, forget about wastegates and manifolds, hehe

and you are using 215's????those arer freakin skinny tires, you wouldnt have traction....i think if you could afford that other stuff you would have quality rims, and some meaty tires...the story just doesnt fit IMO...and as far as i know, JET doesnt make a chip for the Skyline ECU's....

Let's not forget that he needs a "new cap and rotor" ???????It must be an older carburetted RB26. =P Pop ups are not an issue, my boy had a 180 with the GTR mill. He did smoke his 255/50/17s if he even looked at the go-pedal. This guy said T77 turbo, never seen one of those, maybe only available in Nebraska?

I'm sorry I didn't see the correction. He claims twin T78s, heck one would put him in the 700hp neighborhood. Must be the dirty injectors.

I'll have to tell you about the Sentra I have with the Harrier engine in it. I only pull 11s but half the vanes in the engine are bent and I sucked up a duck at half-track!

i'm from nebraska, and the only drag strip in the whole state is in scribner, that's what a lot of people do on the weekends. there has NEVER been an import car at all at this place that has run in the 10s. you'd also need some real nifty slickity-slicks to get in the 10s with any car anyways, am i right? that first 60ft. is the main part.
