The RB-X GT2 engine

hey, is there anyone selling the RB-X GT2 engine? what makes this engine so special, besdies more hp and torque, what has been done to it. and would it be just as much of a pain to put it in a 240sx as the rb26det? can u even put it in?

ok here is what I found

I did a search on google for that and what I came up with is meggala's web site. Near as I can tell is that its a RB26 that has been upped in displacement to a little over 2.7L, thats it. I suppose everything that applies to an RB26 applies to the RB-X

it looks like that is the engine in the Nismo 400R, check this site: http://www.jbskyline.net/Nismo400R/ RB26DETT enlarged to 2771cc it has 400hp and 346 lb-ft of torque. With a production of only 99, the chances of getting the engine are non-existent, but you could build a similar one out of an RB26 with nismo and other parts.

hah, forgot they only made 99 of them. i would love to get a conversion for it though. if i ever get a skyline, and i have a feeling i will, within 7 years for sure. i already got the website that has the original wheels and the body kit for the skyline r33 for sale. im looking forward to it.
