Did you ever have that feeling that you answered all questions and twice as many pop up, like a never ending cycle?

Well I solved all my hardware, but now the electronics and tuning….

I’m doing research see what’s best what will work, current plans: KA24DE, OBDII, 7-9 psi (12 if one day I’ll be stupid enough to do it), stock internals, 370CC injectors and fuel pump, custom turbo kit (with T3/T4)

To tune my KA I would like to use the greddy e-manage + software + injector harness + ignition harness and a wide band Oxygen Sensor. (The one offered on http://www.ka24de.com)

1. I have been reading about e-manage and on the list of engines that will work with it, it didn’t list KA’s at all, will this work with a KA24DE OBDII? (if you, or know someone that has a KA24DE OBDII that uses e-manage just let me know, so I can be sure.) 2. Is this a good setup, to tune my engine? (e-manage + injection control + ignition control + a wide band O2 sensor)

3. I would like to use a new MAF (greddy suggested to use any MAF from any import that has a large engine or a turbo/supercharge and actually recommended a Nissan one)…so I guess I’ll stick with Nissan (brand bias at its best) so which MAF can I use that has a wide range? Which one is better SR or RB? any others?

4. At what PSI will I max out the 370CC injectors? Or will my fuel rail max out before that?

5. Water cooled intercooler (sprayer)? I’m little lost about this, I have been reading on other sites and I need some clear answers. Will this increase hp? Can I run more psi because the air will be colder?

6. This is a little early to ask but, how much to retard timing per PSI, I saw a verity of answers…any help. And when tuning using the O2 sensor, I shouldn’t I keep the engine at 14.7:1 AFR, so I need to run a little rich but how much is a little, any specific valve will be helpful.

7. I will be getting two gauges to keep things in check and avoid serious problems, one will defiantly be boost, what should the second gauge be? (Its down to: Fuel Pressure, Water Temp, Exhaust Temp)

1. Greddy uses the e manage in the new kat kit.

2. For your goals that will be fine.

3. A z32 mafs would be a good choice.

4. 7 to 8 psi is about the max for 370's on a ka

5. YOu don't really need.

6. .5 degrees per psi is good. 11.5 to 12:1 is what you'll want to run as your a/f under WOT.

7. Oil pressure is important.

why not just use the greddy boost sensor? for the price of a z32 mafs, it looks fairly economical....

^^^ they are really cheap, under 50 any day, while the boost sensor will be $150+
