Before:

This morning at 10am my doorbell rang. I got up to answer it and it was the UPS guy. He had me sign for the package and then said he had to go back to his car because "I wasn't hauling these up here if you weren't home." At this point I had no idea what "these" were.

After about 2 minutes of waiting/wondering, he walks in rolling 4 17" tires. I was ecstatic, but confused. I have 15" wheels. That is, until I opened the cardboard on the front of the tire to reveal my brand-new 17" chrome Infiniti wheels. They were a wedding gift from the NICO mod/admin team. (For those of you who don't know, I got married on Sat., June 25th)

All I can say is WOW!!! These wheels look so awesome and are such an improvement. Thank you so much mods/admins. I didn't really deserve but thank you. I'm just glad it's not another candleholder/pictureframe.

Nick

P.S. Oh yeah, here's the new shoes:::::::

Congrats on the wedding!! That looks great now, updated. One suggestion, and this is just a detail, pop out the center caps, and line up the bottom center of the Infiniti logo with the valve stem so that if the stem is at the bottom center of the wheel, the logo is perfect. Again, just a detail, but it makes a diff. I always used to have the tires mounted with the brand name in the same relation to the valve stem, but I haven't bothered lately.

Wow! The nerve of disturbing a newly wed in the AM! Oh, the humanity!

Yokohama and some others have dots to signify mass peaks and circumference peaks for mounting. May not be cosmetic, but it sure is functional.

Thanks for the kind words fellas.

I plan to drop the Q about 1" with the eibach springs. Then it's time to do the brake upgrade I've been meaning to do for the last year.

Congratulations on the wedding, Nick!

Do change these tires at some point to 95 or higher load index ... the 94W is low. If the wheels are wide enough, 245/45-17 will be a nice size to use!

I'm really sorry, I just realized that they're oem wheels, so that makes them 10 times better

I totally agree. I was discussing this with my dad about 2 months ago. My dad is a huge Infiniti fan. He has owned 2 Q's and an I30, but has no time for NICO...believe me, I've tried. He said the only thing he would change on my car is the wheels and I agreed with him. The ones I had weren't even BBS wheels, they were knock-offs. These wheels make the car look so much better than it did before. I can't thank the mod/admin team enough. Kate probably won't be thanking you guys for long though, as I've gotten the "itch" again. The itch to do brakes, springs, tint, etc etc.
