i have written several posts lately about my 94 q45 problems. the most recent and consistent symptom is a sudden loss of power, after complete warm up, that will cause my engine light to go on and off in sync with this dropout. what do you think

Recent tune ups? What was replaced so far?Have you checked the IAC, MAF, Etc? One issue can be caused by more than one problem. I say from what I'm experiencing right now.

This is correct!

Without a maintenance history, we are guessing just like OP. EGR system? vacuum leaks? Dirty intake path? Who knows?

you should go to your local repair shop and have the DTC codes read, there should be codes in the history and that will point you in the right direction, warning tho, do not have the shop preform any work besides reading the codes or you could go into self diagnosis fallowing directions in the FSM and see if there is stored codes yourself

Sudden power loss [sluggish] in accelerating after full warm is THE CLASSIC Defective knock sensor syndrome. Use a Consult to check for codes which won't illuminate check engine light
