the price of jdm??

ok so if i have a center console that has a cup holder does that give me an excuse to sell it for 400 bucks
or a silvia "aero" bumper in good shape, i have to con someone in to buying it for 700 bucks when i could get a whole
front end for that, come on man it has a freaking hole cut in it so that means its worth more? people are trying to
to sell used s*** for twice what it costs new!!!! i used to have a set of the old school bbs wheels i bought off ebay for 200
like 5 years ago,now all these tools are asking 1200 bucks for 15 inch wheels??? or a tattered 20 year old exhaust for a grand??
i see no justification for selling "jdm" items for absolutely retarded prices, i remember a 180sx center piece in japan was like 5 bucks now people over here sell them for 100?? and then some of these guys just blatantly make fun of s series owners of being cheap, there not cheap, but there not dumb honda owners either.

how old are you? if you were buying bbs 5 years ago, then you are old enough to know how capitolism works homeboy.
people seel items like this for stupid high prices because they CAN. theres a market for it and no shortage of people who want items like this right now, not when they find a deal but now. and they are willing to pay the high cost to get what they want. if theres a demand then a product is found, if its not easy to come by, the price goes up, if theres not many of them being sold at the moment, the price goes up. yeah, i agree its f*** sucks....but thats how it goes.
you could always just be like me and say f*** jdm and not spend money on s*** interior peices or legit oem skirts etc. you can find plenty of alternate products in better condition for the same price or less.

amen to that. Didnt think people (aside from honda fanatics) were still going out of their way to have "jdm everything" lol. I agree that they may have some better auto trims but i'm not selling my soul to have it

well, what turned me to this point mainly is someone is selling a used ks aero s13 bumper without any of the trim peices or lights for 650+ shipping and i found the same bumper new with trim rings for
430 shipped from courtesy parts nissan. not sayin' ...im just saying.

"jdm" just has a larger market vs usdm, that = more $$$
