It's actually a one piece wheel. The offsets for the sport wheels are a +50mm not +55mm. Moving to a +42 offset will probably move the wheels out a half inch. +34 probably a little less than a full inch. The place out in California where I'm getting them said they've placed them on 2 M45s with no problems. The good part is I didn't increase the width of the rim to achice the look I want. Too bad My Maya wheels from my G35Coupe wouldn't fit. I'll post pictures as soon as I can. They look pretty good on that magnum and the Mustang as well and the color matches neither of those vehicles. The grey center and stainless steel lip are really going to bring out the look I want. Fingers crossed...maxnix wrote:Funny, the technical specifications don't say how they are made nor what they weigh. They do seem plenty strong, though.
Offset is a far cry from from the 8.5"x19" Enkei +55mm on the Sport.
Just as an aside, everytime I see one piece wheels with fake bolt heads or (even worse) fake rivet heads, I have to ask why? They provide no structural function and only add weight.G35Sunfan wrote:It's actually a one piece wheel.
For the most part I agree....however I like the fact that they are a one piece design...They are less likely to cause some sort of crazy leakage etc. Even you can picture the color and design of the wheels being an attractive add on to a DG M. If I was worried about the weight of the wheels/speed I wouldn't be purchasing them. I also love the 19' sport wheels...I think they look great but this is all about personalization. Wheels and tint is all I do to my vehicles. So the choice was mad...An M35 Sport with all the Bells and whistles or the M45 for the V8....some bells but no whistles. My daughter loves her DVD player...what can I say...It's the trip car. BTW I love those shows...Pimp my ride, When Chip foose adds 20 inchers to an old Chevy on his show. It's great...Doesn't appeal to everybody and can be overkill at times but you've never seen an upset owner after he's been pimped. Just entertainment....maxnix wrote:Just as an aside, everytime I see one piece wheels with fake bolt heads or (even worse) fake rivet heads, I have to ask why? It is an immediate sign of cosmetics over engineering. But that is what all these pimp my car shows are about. They cosmetically trick out old beaters without even looking at the ATF or oil.
That's funny...I do too....which is why I had to have the sport model.MinisterofDOOM wrote:Personally, I think the stock M sport wheels are *the* perfect wheel for the car.
I also agree entirely!MinisterofDOOM wrote:Personally, I think the stock M sport wheels are *the* perfect wheel for the car.
Nice Z and wheels. Good choice. Personalization rules.... My first choice was a set of Piaa Super Rozzas but I decided not to drop so much cash on wheels this time around. Please post some pictures once you've got the new shoes.RAGTPZ wrote:I've been having a hard time finding some wheels for my M and then I finally decided that I like the wheels on my Z so much that I'm going to go with those.
ROH Modena, except with the center will be the "black ice" color.
Your Z wheels remind me of the Ferrari 550/575/SuperAmerica wheels:http://www.carbodydesign.com/v...4.jpgRAGTPZ wrote:I've been having a hard time finding some wheels for my M and then I finally decided that I like the wheels on my Z so much that I'm going to go with those.
Amen brother! The more I look at them, the more I'm impressed that they ARE the right ones. Getting aftermarket wheels will give it a unique look but Infiniti has done a great job on the M sport and G35 coupe upgrade wheels!MinisterofDOOM wrote:Personally, I think the stock M sport wheels are *the* perfect wheel for the car.

What I have are the Pirelli Pzero Nero valued at $312 apiece for 245/35/20. I didn't exactly break out the scales but my back told me they are a little heavier than stock.maxnix wrote:Pirelli PZero System Asimmetrico 245/35ZR20 Blackwall ZR Speed Rated 95Y Load Rating XL Price: $159.00 each Special at Tire Rack.
Still wondering how much each wheel weighs. At least they are strong enough.
Tirerack is probably getting ride of them for not selling well. The ride is very near stock but you can feel cracks in the pavement a little better. Cornering was improved and when they're on a nice pavement it rides better than stock because of the heavier feel.maxnix wrote:Yeah, too many Pirelli Summer Tire models. Maybe the Rosso are being closed out. Great price if one is in to 20.
How is the ride?
