Seeing i just bought my 240sx, Im looking at a few rim Options atm, and figured ide ask you guys what you thought is a good rim, a classic look that lots of S13's have and works.

Only problem is i dont know many brands of rims and dont really know were to look for them. Im thinking 17 Inch, Black chrome, Kinda like these rims which is exactly what im looking for:

What do you guys think? If you could shout me some name brands and or models of these types of rims i would really appreciate it!

Thankyou!

If you have the doh, Work, Volk, SSR and BBS all make a mesh style wheel like that.

If you dont have the dough, check out XXR and Rota, you might get a little ish for getting those style wheels but, I like them and alot of people have had good luck with them.

unless your buying from some local schmuck, and the wheels have bald tires, i dont think so, my Rotas were $600, thats without tires, save u and get something worthwhile, im not saying i dont like my Rotas i just wish now that i would have saved a bit more for some Works, like the ones in my garage, waiting on 5 lug and tires

Thats not enough for Volks, or SSR's or anything like that, but that'll buy you a set of XXR's with tires. Just dont buy the staggard wheels, buy the 17x9.5 or 17x9.0 all around, I think it looks more baller that way because you have a fat lip on all four corners. The staggard look funny to me...

That's pretty tight budget Solution: used xxr wheels.

bought my wheels used, new tires, and spacers for 600$

not trying to call you out but i dont think thsi can be done on a 600 budget. even if you find the xxr's used for a decent price of $400 that only leaves $200 for tires which is $50 a tire, not something i'd recommend. and i wouldnt plan on getting the wheels for less then 400 unless your really lucky, so imo you can get the wheels for 600, tires woudl have to wait

best advice:

seeing as you don't really know anything about a whole lot... and considering the car you posted really doesn't look all that great, and considering that style of wheel is one of the most generic and played out of all time, I give you the following:

WAIT. browse the forums, look at the plethora of pictures around here and decide out of ALL the options out there what look you truly like the best. then, make an educated choice and make sure to get some decent sizes.

i don't wanna sound like an ***hole, but really... if you arent sure, then GET to where you're sure and then pull the trigger on wheels. after all, wheels make or break a car, and you're gonna have to both look at them and be looked at with them every day.

Only then can you return to the NICO forums.

White comet is right. You'll run into extra necessary charges like hub centering rings (20 bucks) and tuner lug nuts (70 shipped for gorilla?) 59 dollars a tire at citytireonline.com for federal tires. Good tire cheap. Not to mention at LEAST 15 dollars each to mount and balance each one. (60 bucks + tax)

If you're getting 17" rims then forget about it. 16s are cheaper.
