no reason to. plus it wouldn't open ever. Intake on diesels isnt throttled, so theres no sudden drop in pressure or sudden vacuum when you "let off the gas". they are throttled or governed by fuel delivery alone, either electronically if its a newer common rail system or mechanically at the injector pump if its unit direct injection.
