GM has this odd habit of cancelling cars as soon as they become good.

The Oldsmobile version of the Chevy Venture minivan (forgot what its called) beat Honda Toyota Nissan and Mazda for initial quality in its final production year.

Now the Buick Century is getting hacked in favor of the Lacrosse, just as the Century was getting good. Oh well, its dull and ancient anyway.

It's usually something like "complaints or problems per 1,000 vehicles", in short the lower the number the better.

I bet some the Infiniti gripes are transmission (M) and interior (G) related.

Maybe the type of people that buy buicks are just happy if they start when they turn the key.

I still say the most perfect Buick is the Acura RL 3.5. When I drove from NYC to Seattle a couple of years ago, the most common car on the highway was a Buick. I am going to drive from Seattle to Austin this weekend, so I'll give you another road report in a week.
