The other LS guys

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

Do any of you use a scanmeter or something similar? If so please let me know what you use and if you like it or not.

I am about ready to get the Hypertech Hyperpac, its seems to have a little more function over meters like the AeroForce Tech Interceptor, but I dont know who deep the tuning function goes. Theres also the diablo which people love, but I havent seen it yet. And about 10 other products that would work for me.

The main function is to monitor the vehicle while im running it. All of my gauges non ECM controlled and I want to be able to check sensors, and codes in real time with out having to hook up.

I like the MSD dashhawk, but its only compatible with CAN bus ODBII 2005 and above and my engine is 2002

I ordered the HyperPac by Hypertech. The MSRP was around 950 dollars, but I got it brand new from jegs on sale for $503.00 shipped. Normally you find them on ebay for about 750-800. I think I did pretty good on that.

Jegs is blowing them out right now at 500 so if you want one nows the time to save 200-300

I got her today and hooked it up for about 5 minutes, its not bad, but since I dont use a T56 or a 4LXE trans it cant see the vehicles speed. I knew this before I bought it, so I cant use the drag strip and timing features, or dynometer. But I can make changes to my ECU, see my sensors, and codes so its a win.

But it would work better with the electronics trans, so when its time to replace I will have to put the 4L60e after a rebuild, I paid about 125 bucks for it with 76K on it, but I rather rebuild before beating on it.
