Car: 2000 Infiniti I30
Suspension: Stock
Wheels: Stock 16"
Brand: Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus
Size: 215/55 R16
Price: $506.08
Mileage: 3,000
Category: Ultra High Performance All-Season
Good: Excellent traction in dry and wet(haven't tested in snow or ice yet), fairly quiet, excellent grip.
Bad: Only rated for 45,000 miles, but other than that I have no complaints.
Verdict: Tire has exceeded my expectations and i'm very pleased with it. Excellent traction, even in wet conditions and you really have to try hard to make it lose traction at all. We've had very little snow and ice this winter, so I haven't really been able to test that yet.

I had a set of Goodyear Assurance Touring on it before these and they were absolutely horrible(reviewed above). I nearly had an accident one afternoon in the rain because I couldn't stop, so SAM's Club offered to swap them out for me and let me choose whatever I wanted. I have not regretted my decision so far at all.

Car: 1997 Honda Prelude, 2001 Mazda Miata
Suspension: Stock (on both... odd)
Wheels: Stock 16" (again... on both).
Brand: Continental ExtremeContact DW
Size: 205/55/zR16 all around ze Prelude, 205/45/zR16 on the front of the Miater, 55s on the back.
Price: About $125/wack
Mileage: 15,000 combined
Category: Ultra High Performance Summer
Good: Excellent traction and grip in dry and wet, and even in light snow (tested on the prelude only). High levels of static and kinetic coefficient of friction.
Bad: I bubbled one tire on the prelude twice. First time someone else was driving so I don't know how hard they hit something, the second time I hit something fairly hard, but not overly bad... so I guess the sidewalls are a bit weak. Could be louder at the limit.
Verdict: Initially bought a set for my prelude. I liked them so much I got a set for the Miata as well. I've never done that with a tire before this one. I like them a lot more than the Toyos on my 240.

NEW PRODUCT UTILIZATION

Car Mileage: 125,000
OEM Minimum Load rating Specification: model stock spec
Wheel: OEM 2002 Q45 18x7.5 35mm offset
Brand: Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS Pole Position
Size: 245/45-18
Load Rating: 99 speed w
Price: ~$215 ea. at Firestone Store -- I found they will discount in-stock items to keep the business.
Tire Mileage: 1K
Category: Maximum Performance
Good: For an AS tire, exceptional handling on dry summer pavement. Note exceptional handling on wet pavement.
Bad: Not cheap compared to some other brands -- though wet performance handling makes up for the difference. Tire performance comparison video talks about a thump over rough spots in pavement or railroad tracks. The tires are quieter than the old Michelin MXM4s so I can't tell a difference on noise other than an overall reduction.

Recommendation: Buy if you need wet performance + dry pavement handling. I was surprised how well the tires perform when I drove the tires on the interstate during Hurricane Isaac. The tires deliver a nice secure feel on water covered roads at 70 MPH.
