How would you like to sport the official http://www.Q45.org logo decals?

We've partnered with Scott from Fabulous Graphix to offer a fantastic deal for all NICO members. http://www.fabulousgraphix.com

http://www.myspace.com/fabulousgraphix

Within each portal site on NICO, we'll be designing and "official" group logo. Once that design is complete, we'll turn it over to Scott for production. He'll be taking orders by email and phone to start, but will soon have an online ordering system.

Each logo set has been offered at a smoking hot price of $5.00 a pair. A pair consists of two reverse mirrored logos so that it will look correct on each side of your vehicle. This price also includes shipping. Custom colors, metallics, and other options will be available upon request from Scott.

The first task is to design and agree upon a logo design. It's up to you guys with the help of your moderators to come up with a design for the Q45.org logos.

Wes will pop in here later with an existing idea for a logo.

Here's an example of the http://www.240sxconvertible.com logo.

Any questions... post 'em up! Design ideas.... post 'em up!

I think that the belt buckle should be included somehow. Even though it didn't last long, it's pretty recognizable as the Q45's signature.

The Q45.org guys (Wes, Jesda) have a potential logo designed already.

Personally, I'd prefer something small and subtle...

After all, this ain't no Ricer or Mudder we're driving!

"It's a good first step" Thats what by boss always says when he means try again, this time dig a little deeper. NICE but I don't see the immediate correlation when I look at it.

Personally... I love it. I have a full size poster of it that looks just spectacular.

We're used to our own Qs, which mostly consist of boxier Y33s and G50s, so we're just not adjusted to the shape.

Fits neither a G50, and FY33 nor an F50.

Close, but no Cohiba.

Its a lot easier to make a logo for a topless car or a coupe. Sedans have more generic shapes.

This is what I made for "performance" on Falk Luxury Sports which actually looks much better reversed, but since it's on a black page this is how it looks.

Of course, you guys are obviously going for that brush stroke like the M45 ad's use, but it's not the shape of any Q. Good concept though.

jesda, true, i never thought of that. Vert ones can all look the same and get the point across.

yeah, 4doors might be more difficult to do.

IMO, the one thing that is associated with almost all Q year models - the thing that most folks comment on the very first time they ride in the car - is the dashboard analog clock. True, other luxury cars dabble in analog clocks from model to model, but it is a distinctive trait of the Q.

So, for a graphics concept, perhaps some likeness of it could be incorporated inside a capitol "Q"?

You could put clock hands and maybe a classic/Roman 12-3-6-9 clock face on it, perhaps even adding a small Infinity logo. The "45" and ".org" parts could be outside the "Q", printed in the traditional Infiniti font.
