how did you guys get yours off to place the fairlady sticker on? Mine's already worn and fugly and really just says NISS and about half an A, but it's so worn it's like, part of the taillights.
So i spent about 30 minutes carefully scratching it off with my nails and a small metal piece, but it still says NISSAN in fat black letters where the sticker used to be. Is it supposed to be like that, as a marker for future stickers?
Will the failrlady sticker "NISSAN" part fit right over those black letters? thanks guys

The black is there because the rest of the third brake light faded to a burgundy red because of the years of exposure to sun, and since the sticker was on there, the sun didn't fade that part of the brake light. The "NISSAN" part of the fairlady should fit over the old letters, it will just be hard to align it right.
Your best bet is just to suck it up and buy a new third brake light. It will look much better.

I am selling a 3rd break light, new, with chrome Nissan lettering (aftermarket)
