Well, I like the color anyway.

Thanks to the highly innovative Robotic Agent, you are never alone in the Pivo 2. With conversations possible in Japanese and English, the Robotic Agent has been created to work with Pivo 2 to make every journey less stressful. It provides a unique interface through which to communicate with Pivo 2 on everything from basic vehicle functions through to the nearest available parking.

Just what we need, another voice telling us we screwed up and missed a parking spot.

Jeeze... that thing looks like an egg with wheels!

As to the voice part... that is the direction everything is going. My son just bought a Ford Focus that is equipped with the new Microsoft Sync system. I gotta tell ya, it is great! One push of a button and you can tell the system to turn on the radio, the iPod, the phone, etc. It understands any voice, and accesses all the menus of the iPod, (or any other MP3 player). I can see a day when we will get into our cars and simply tell the car where you want to go, sit back, enjoy a cup of coffee and let the car do the rest.

That being said, don't get me started about having to talk to a recorded voice on the phone when trying to contact most any company these days! JUST GIVE ME A HUMAN TO TALK WITH!! lol

If I were to own a car that did everything for me, I'd probably be like that kid in your sig BigWill. But on the downside, it'll take the fun out of driving...unless it could do both (auto/manual pilot).

I found one I'd rather have. I'm considering the possibilities of underwater cruising, or the next time an officer wants to stop you to discuss your driving, you just head west.

Or, if your Mother-in-law wants to follow you home...

Yes, it's a submarine car.

I'm right there with ya... more than half the fun of driving is, well, the driving! That is one thing that has never changed in all my years behind a wheel, whether there were 2, or 18 wheels, manual or automatic, I have always loved driving.

rn79870:

Is that car real or is it just a Leggo model? It look like the kind of car one would see in a movie like the "Incredibles".

No, both are real cars. The sQuba car is real, it dives, floats and runs on the street. I'd love to rent one in the Bahamas or some other clear warm water area.

I was thinking more along the lines of Telletubbies or however you spell those things.

As far as.....is there an Infiniti version coming? I highly doubt it....I don't see any way to put a luxury twist on that thing to merit it an Infiniti badge.

Actually, pretty much the only perc of that car is the fact that you'd have no more worries when it came to parallel parking. The wheels actually rotate 90 degrees and the dome/egg part of the car can actually rotate too so you can park with ease. There actually isn't a front or rear to the car I believe. The cab can turn 180 degrees and the rear can become the front and vise versa. It's a great car for Japan, and other confined areas/cities like maybe San Francisco for example with their tiny garages downtown. But will it out sell the Smart Car? Probably not.
