The Nissan/Infiniti V8 Engine Thread

If you where to swap a Nissan V8 Engine to your car, witch one will be it and what would be you mods?

Also what is the good and bad about this engines.

Here is the list of Nissan V8 Engines.

- VH41DE = HP 266, 270. / LBF-FT 278.

- VH45DE = HP 278. / LBF-FT 294.

- VK45DE = HP 320, 325, 333, 340. / LBF-FT 329, 333, and 340.

- VK45DD = HP 276. / LBF-FT 333.

- VK50VE = HP 390. / LBF-FT 370.

- VK56DE = HP 305, 310, 317, 320. / LBF-FT 385, 390, 393.

- VK56VD = HP 400, 420. / LBF-FT 413, 417, 420.

For me it would be the VK50VE or VK56VD with a 350/370 manual transmission into my S14.

The VK56VD would still be tough to come by, and you might have issues with the direct injection system, but then again maybe not.
It would be cool to see. VK56s are taaaaaallllllllll engines too.
